Noah wants to share his pool industry knowledge with you! He started learning about swimming pools from his dad and has a lot of information to share.
We want you to feel well informed about how we can help you enjoy your pool. Give us a call if you have further questions.
Real, practical pool care advice from the Noah's team. Browse our latest guides on weekly service, water balance, pricing, and keeping algae out of your pool all year long.
Quick answer: This page is the index to everything Noah's Pool Service has published about keeping a North Texas pool clear, balanced, and running: a video maintenance guide, answers to the questions we get on every quote call, 35+ how-to and cost guides, and Noah's own rules for working with a pool company. Start with the card that matches your problem. If you would rather hand the whole thing off, weekly service covers all of it and we quote most pools from satellite imagery, no appointment needed.
Six places, each built for a different question.
14 short videos from Noah on chemistry, testing, filters, salt cells, and chemical storage, with the written version under each one.
Watch the guide →What a visit includes, what happens when it rains, how pricing works, what to do about algae. Short answers, and videos where they help.
Read the FAQs →Longer guides on algae, cloudy water, freeze protection, filter types, pool service cost, and how to choose a company in Fort Worth.
Browse the blog →Five rules Noah gives every new customer: delegate, automate, do not assume, cover equipment in a freeze, and give feedback fast.
Read the tips →Chemical-only, Select, and Signature. What each visit includes, how the plans compare, and how to switch between them by season.
Compare plans →Fort Worth and 25 mid-cities, each with its own page on local water, lakes, and what that means for your pool.
Find your city →These are the two explanations Noah gives most often. Chemical service is the base of every plan, and weekly testing is the one habit that prevents most problems.
All 14 videos, with the written explanations, are on the pool maintenance guide. More on our YouTube channel.
Every guide below is written for in-ground pools in the Fort Worth area, where hard fill water, summer heat, lake-borne algae spores, and the occasional hard freeze change the rules.
New guides are added most weeks. See the full list on the blog.
Water is not the same across DFW. Arlington and Mansfield fight airborne algae from Joe Pool Lake, Southlake and Colleyville pools leach minerals from natural stone, and north Fort Worth runs on well water with higher dissolved solids. Each city page covers what that means for your pool and what a weekly visit there includes.
Twenty-five years of service calls come down to these. The full explanations are on Noah's Tips.
Your time is the most expensive thing in the backyard. Pick a plan and let it run.
Customers who follow the system stop thinking about the pool because recurring issues are handled before they show.
If something looks off, say so the same day. Fast communication is how trust is built.
A tarp over the pad buys protection in a short cold snap. Never put a heat source under it.
Short and quick beats long and late. Call or text 817-269-4520 and we fix it.
Start with why pools turn green to find the cause, then how to kill pool algae for the fix. If the filter has not been deep-cleaned this season, that is usually where the algae is living, so read the filter cleaning section of the maintenance guide too. On weekly service, a green pool is our problem to solve, not yours.
Both. The maintenance guide has 14 short videos from Noah with the written explanation under each one, and the FAQ page embeds videos where they help. Everything is also on our YouTube channel.
Yes. Every guide assumes an in-ground pool in the Fort Worth area: hard fill water, 100-degree summers, algae spores blowing in from the lakes, oak and pecan debris, and a hard freeze every few winters. Advice written for Florida or Arizona often does not apply here.
Call or text 817-269-4520, or use the contact form. Give us your address and we measure the pool from satellite imagery, calculate gallons, and price it by your features and the plan you choose. Most quotes come back without anyone needing to visit.
Questions about service itself (visits, rain, pricing, chemicals) are on the main FAQ page.
That is what weekly service is for. Give us your address and we will quote your pool from satellite imagery, usually the same day, no appointment needed.
